It is a great honor and pleasure for us to participate in the co-organization of the 9th Environmental History Two-Day Conference entitled "Lungs of the Earth" together with the Piraeus Group Cultural Foundation (PIOP), the Historical Research Institute of the National Research Foundation (IIE/EIE) , the Department of History and Archeology of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and the Hellenic Society of Environmental History (ElEPI).
The two-day conference will take place on Wednesday 5 and Thursday 6 June 2024 (10:00-17:00), at the Piraeus Group Cultural Foundation building in Tavros (Athens).
We sincerely thank our members Alexandros Bofilia, former general secretary of PSAT, Angeliki Paraskevopoulou, former vice-president of educational matters of PSAT, and Anastasia Nikologianni for responding to our invitation and participating in the two-day event.
Lena Athanasiadou , president of PSAT, and Olga Bakirtzi, general secretary, also participate with a speech in collaboration with Vangelis Matziris, a friend of our Association.
